| Preparation |
| 01. Mix the minced meat with salt and turmeric powder. Place it on the fire till it is well cooked and all the water has dried up. 02. Heat the oil and sauté the onions, green chilies, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, curry leaves and mint leaves. 03. When it is well sautéed, add the cooked meat, sauté well and keep aside. 04. Knead the refined wheat flour (maida), salt and water and divide it into small balls. Roll out each ball into a circle, roughly the size of a poori. 05. Spread some of the meat mixture on top of a pathiri and place another pathiri on the top, to cover it. Press and seal all the edges well. 06. When all the pathiris have been made as described above, fry each one in hot oil and drain. 07. Beat the eggs, sugar and cardamom powder well and keep aside. 08. Place a pan on the flame, pour a spoonful of oil into it and heat well. 09. Now take each fried pathiri, coat it well with the beaten egg mixture, place it on the pan and turn it over as needed, until both sides are well cooked. |
