| Salil Bera of THE WEEK won a host of awards for his photograph of a male leopard attacking a forest official near Limbu village, (Siliguri) close to the Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary, on July 19, 2011. Six people were injured as the leopard went on a rampage. Though the forest officials were able to cage the animal, it succumbed to injuries.
