Sasthamkotta, or Sasthamcotta, is a village in the Kunnathoor Tehsil of Kollam district in the state of Kerala, India. Kunnathoor taluk headquarters is located at Sasthamkotta. The Sasthamkotta freshwater lake is the largest freshwater lake in Kerala.The place is naturally beautiful and is surrounded by hills and valleys. In the midst of the hills is the Fresh Water Lake.

കേരളത്തിലെ കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലാണ് ശാസ്താംകോട്ട സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത് . കൊല്ലം നഗരത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഏകദേശം 29 കിലോ മീറ്ററോളം വടക്കാണ്‌ ഈ സ്ഥലം. കുന്നത്തൂർ താലൂക്കിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട പ്രദേശമാണിത്.ശാസ്താംകോട്ടയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ധർമ്മശാസ്താക്ഷേത്രം പ്രസിദ്ധമാണ്. ധാരാളം വിനോദസഞ്ചാരികളും തീർത്ഥാടകരും സന്ദർശിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലമാണ്.
