Pattambi is a town, taluk, and municipality at the western end of the Palakkad district of the state of Kerala. Pattambi was a part of Walluvanad Taluk of British Malabar District, which was one of the two Taluks included in Malappuram Revenue Division of British Malabar.

കേരളത്തിലെ പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയിലെ പഴയ നെടുങ്ങനാട് നാട്ടുരാജ്യത്തിൽ ഉൾപെട്ടതും പിന്നീട് വള്ളുവനാട് നാട്ടു രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാവുകയും ചെയ്ത ഒരു പ്രധാന നഗരമാണ് പട്ടാമ്പി. പട്ടാമ്പി ഒരു ദേശപ്പേരല്ല. നേതിരിമംഗലം എന്നായിരുന്നു പഴയ പേര്. പട്ടാമ്പി ഭാരതപ്പുഴയുടെ തീരത്താണ് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്.
