Thiruvilwamala is a hilly village in the northern terrain of Thrissur district of Kerala state in southern India. The village, which is more of a temple town, is located on the banks of the Bharathappuzha river, with nearest towns being Chelakkara, Ottapalam, Pazhayannur, and Shoranur. 

കേരളത്തിലെ തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയുടെ വടക്കൻ ഭൂപ്രദേശത്തുള്ള ഒരു മലയോര ഗ്രാമമാണ് തിരുവില്വാമല. ഒരു ക്ഷേത്രനഗരമായ ഈ ഗ്രാമം ഭാരതപ്പുഴയുടെ തീരത്താണ് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ചേലക്കര, ഒറ്റപ്പാലം, പഴയന്നൂർ, ഷൊർണൂർ എന്നിവയാണ് അടുത്തുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങൾ. കേരളത്തിലെ അപൂർവ ശ്രീരാമക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായ വില്വാദ്രിനാഥ ക്ഷേത്രം തിരുവില്വാമലയിലാണ്.
