Vadakkencherry is a fast developing town, village and gram panchayat in the Palakkad district, state of Kerala. It is under Alathur Taluk in Palakkad district.

Vadakkencherry Vela and “Eakadesi Villaku” is one of the famous festivals in Kerala. 

പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയുടെ തെക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറേ അറ്റത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നൊരു പട്ടണമാണ് വടക്കഞ്ചേരി. ആലത്തൂർ താലൂക്കിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട ഒരു വ്യാപാരകേന്ദ്രമാണു വടക്കഞ്ചേരി. റബ്ബറാണ് ഇവരുടെ പ്രധാന കൃഷി. ധാരാളം റബ്ബർ തോട്ടങ്ങൾ വടക്കഞ്ചേരിയിലുണ്ട്.
