Manorama Horizon is an education portal from the house of Malayala Manorama that reinforces its commitment in the field of knowledge to be universal and comprehensive. We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients. UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers

  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets

  • Build page navigation buttons and search fields

  • Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like

  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)

  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)

  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback

  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

    Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role

  • Portfolio of design projects

  • Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. UXpin, Figma, Adobe XD etc)

  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

  • Good time-management skills

Job Description

A Brand Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for leading the team in continually enhancing a particular brand image; increasing brand awareness, and providing after-sales support through advertisements, media, point-of sale, partnerships, and relationship marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop brand strategy, including setting, refining and communicating of style guides, guidelines, vision, mission and value proposition and convert brand elements into plans and go to market strategies.

  • Maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications and manage category performance.

  • Oversee new and ongoing market and advertising activities and Identify actionable insights such as trends, data, competitor’s media performance, and marketing trends.

  • Optimize range planning to meet customer and business demands such as matrix allocation, drop planning, concept alignment.

  • Collaborate directional guide for stakeholders such as developing creative assets, product information, buying presentation and buyers brief.

  • Brand Management: Where are we currently & where do we want to be? Work across all levels and departments to find an answer to these questions, what makes us unique and communicate it to the world. Make our brand ever-evolving & contemporary.

  • Plan, strategise and execute marketing campaigns to establish and maintain brand presence. Seek & enable tie-ups with different genres of activities across the market.

  • Marketing Budget-Planning & Management, to execute brand campaigns effectively.

  • Collaborate with different teams to pitch Mango IPs in accordance with client briefs.

Skills Required:

Product Manager

Manorama Horizon is an education portal from the house of Malayala Manorama that reinforces its commitment in the field of knowledge to be universal and comprehensive.

In this role, you will oversee and shape our portfolio of Education Technology products and platforms, in close partnership with our Tech, Consumer and content team. This portfolio includes both the platform to deliver self-paced online learning experiences and the digital tools and systems to support the effective delivery of instructor-led learning experiences. Your role exists at the intersection of leadership, product management, content design, and technology. In this capacity, you will be responsible for building and gaining buy-in on the company-wide Education Technology roadmap, as well as leading individual projects through discovery, development, and implementation. You will in the long run lead the product road map of the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer needs and gather product requirements.

  • Lead the development of the product roadmap through conducting user research, analysing the competitive environment and understanding key product metrics.

  • Engage closely with the technical team to help determine the best implementation methods as well as a reasonable implementation schedule.

  • Work closely with the design team to create wireframes and write requirement specifications for all new product features and additions to existing features.

  • Guide products through the life cycle from conception to launch to evaluation.

  • Build and document product use cases and scenarios.

  • Exhibit sound product judgment and present clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving business goals.

  • Analyse data science and market trends and identify solutions to support product development.

AEM Developer (Junior/Mid/Senior/Architect)

 

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Development, testing and deployment on web content management platform.

  • Adobe experience manager/CQ5 based.

  • Interactions with external product development teams.

     

Requirements:

  • B.Tech/B.E (IT, Computer science)/MCA/M.Sc. (computer science).

  • Minimum 2-13 years experience in JAVA, J2EE development (Preferably media websites).

  • Experience in Adobe CQ5/AEM based projects will be an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge in web services, XML, jQuery and MySQL database.

  • Preference to those who has worked on Linux OS and usage of source controls. A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
