Poopara is a village in Idukki district in Kerala. The Anayirankal reservoir is 4 km up the road from Poopara.  

This village is on the way from Kumali to Munnar. Tourist spots like Anayirangal Dam and Suryanelli Kolukumalarajapara Mett are close to Poopapara. Tea, cardamom and black pepper are the main sources of income here. If you travel eleven kilometers from here, you can reach Bodimet, a border village of Kerala Tamil Nadu

പൂപ്പാറ, ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരു ഗ്രാമമാണ് പൂപ്പാറ.  കുമളിയിൽ നിന്നും മൂന്നാറിലേക്കുളള വഴിയിലാണ് ഈ ഗ്രാമം. ആനയിറങ്കൽ അണക്കെട്ടും സൂര്യനെല്ലി കൊളുക്കുമലരാജാപ്പാറ മെട്ട് തുടങ്ങിയ വിനോദ സഞ്ചാര കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ പൂപ്പാറക്ക് സമീപമാണ്. തേയിലയും ഏലവും കുരുമുളകുമാണ് ഇവിടുത്തെ പ്രധാന വരുമാന മാർഗ്ഗം.
