Mallappally is a taluk in Kerala. It is one of the five taluks that make up the Pathanamthitta district. Most of the area is hilly with a midland climate. The Manimala River flows through the heart of the town and divides it into Mallappally West and Mallappally East.

പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരു ഗ്രാമമാണ് മല്ലപ്പള്ളി. മല്ലപ്പള്ളി താലൂക്കിന്റെ ആസ്ഥാനവുമാണ്.  പത്തനംതിട്ടയിൽ നിന്നും ഏകദേശം 30 കി മീ ദൂരത്താണീ ഗ്രാമം. .കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയുടെ പ്രവേശന കവാടം കൂടെയാണ് മല്ലപ്പള്ളി. മണിമലയാറിന്റെ തീരത്തായാണ് ഈ ചെറുപട്ടണം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്.
